Truce 20/20 showcase event

This week, Truce 20/20 held a special ‘Breaking Boundaries’ event to celebrate over two years of this groundbreaking project. Seventy young people have now learned about mediation, conflict resolution and prevention. They’ve shared that knowledge with their peers in schools and youth groups, taken part in national and international conferences and are going from strength to strength. I thought the event was great. It was a good opportunity to spread the word and I felt that it was also a good opportunity to reflect on the path I've gone through, not just in regards to conflict resolution but in my life. It has reminded me of what I've learned, who I was then and who I am today. - Andre Mpeke, Truce course 2
The event was a good chance to meet different peoples who have a say in decision making. We were able to inform them on the work we have done and the opportunities that are available to us as young people.
