    The world is battling violent conflict. Violence touches and destroys lives and communities globally. International efforts alone are not working: wars restart, conflicts continue, and violence leads to further violence. Local people are often not involved in resolving conflicts and we believe for real change to happen, they must be.

    By supporting local peacebuilders, you will help enable stronger, safer communities around the world. Your gift will help local peacebuilders working in conflict zones to access the resources they need to build lasting peace.

Our promise to you

A gift in your will to Peace Direct is a promise of a better future. A promise that means we will support local peacebuilders to end violent conflict and build lasting peace. In return, here is our promise to you.

  • Your family and friends matter. We will always understand that your loved ones may come first.
  • Your decision is yours alone. We will always respect your need to carefully consider leaving a legacy gift and you can take your own time making this decision.
  • Your privacy is our priority. Your will is personal to you and we will not share this information with anyone outside of Peace Direct.
  • We will spend your money wisely – where it will have the most impact at that time.
  • We care. We will handle your legacy gift with the utmost sensitivity and respect.
  • We’re discreet. You don’t have to tell us if you leave a gift to Peace Direct, but if you do, it will help us to plan future work, and we will keep your decision completely confidential. It will also mean we don’t ask you to consider supporting us in this way.
