The prospects for peace may seem bleak, but there are still many reasons for you to be hopeful.

One of these in that remarkable women around the world are taking real, sustainable steps towards a more peaceful future. Women like Gulalai.

Will you help more women like her build peace where they live with a gift today?

Give now

Gulalai grew up in Peshawar in North Pakistan, where women are often not treated the same as men, and violent attacks are all too common.

Her parents believed in peace and that we should all be equal. The values she learned from them inspired her and her sister to set up their own organisation, Aware Girls, when Gulalai was just 16 years old. With your support, they have saved over 10,000 lives.

Without Gulalai’s bravery – and that of many others – the future might not look so hopeful. But they need your help to keep going. A gift today will help more women build peace around the world.
