There is no better way to get into the festive spirit than carol singing. Whether it’s on the street to brighten up a weary shopper’s day, or going door to door bringing joy to your neighbour’s evening – singing Christmas carols is bound to bring some seasonal cheer to you and all those involved.

This year, why not sing for peace? Get together with your friends, family or colleagues and organise a fun carol singing event. Or if you’re part of a choir, church or a community group, why not organise for them to sing for peace? It can be door to door, a carol concert or simply in your town square. Organising the event can be really simple with our free resources, including song sheets, collecting buckets and fliers.

Perhaps you already have a carol service planned – why not organise the collection in aid of Peace Direct? The funds you raise will go towards our life-saving work in conflict zones around the world, which helps to establish sustainable peace. This Christmas why not bring some peace on earth and sing for Peace Direct?

We are very pleased to have Raised Voices singing for Peace Direct again this Christmas. They often take to the streets to sing against war and for peace and have collected for us many times before. They will be bringing their Christmas spirit in full force to the streets of South Kensington, London,  on 12 December, brightening up the day of tube travellers and shoppers alike.
