We know that some groups are disproportionately impacted by violence and conflict. Yet, they are often excluded from peacebuilding efforts such as peace talks, and rarely have the chance to lead conflict resolution efforts.

We support more inclusive peacebuilding. This means supporting women, young people and other marginalised groups to have their voices heard and their needs met.

Delivered alongside our partners, the Youth Action for Peace Programme provides small, flexible grants to young peacebuilders in four different countries. These young peacebuilders are often overlooked by international donors because they have less experience, but we’ve seen them lead innovative, intersectional initiatives that have had a huge positive impact on their communities.
