“I think everything is not over. Now pro-war people must provide a political solution that satisfies all minorities but I am not sure this will happen. For the last four days we have seen victory celebrations mixed with the anxiety of minorities, especially Tamils. I can not understand our Sri Lankan people, how can they celebrate demolishing their brother-ethnic group? Tomorrow the government has organised a big rally to honour the war heroes and bring together more than 100,000 people island-wide while the minorities are crying.

Otherwise we are fine and we are hopeful to give our full support to create a political solution that supports minorities. We can play a positive role in mobolising local people to support a good political solution for minorities.

Thank you,
