What does this look like? Well, if Henri had 25% more for just one year, he would be able to help 241 more ex-combatants to escape the militia and build a brighter future in their local communities. If our peace courts in DR Congo had 25% more funding they could provide justice to 12,500 more people. All this at just the tick of a box!
Through your support for Peace Direct you are helping rescue child soldiers, bringing justice to people who have none and giving young people the opportunity to choose peace over extremism. If you are a UK tax payer we can make your gift go even further by reclaiming, from the government, the tax you have already paid on your donations – 25p for every pound you have donated. Through the government’s scheme we can reclaim this tax on all the donations that you have made in the last four years. If you have been donating £10 each month over the last four years that would mean we can reclaim £120.
It really doesn’t cost you a penny.
