Back in September, supporter Duncan Mcintyre told us of his goal to cycle the Western Front. His aim was to commemorate the First World War and raise money for the victims of violent conflicts around the world in the process.

Three months later, his plans are starting to take shape. He has now finalised the route and is set to begin in Ypres on 31 August 2014. His aim is to reach Verdun within ten days. He also has two new companions joining him on his trip, which is great – but there is still room for a few more!

If the idea of cycling 300 miles appeals to you, or you share Duncan’s values and want to take on a new challenge, then this is your opportunity. You can join Duncan’s cycle group and raise funds for Peace Direct – you can help us to create change in areas of the world that are ravaged still by war.

If you are up for the challenge and want to sign up or find out more, please contact Duncan at: [email protected]
