The international development, humanitarian and peacebuilding sector has spent the past few years talking about how to change. How to reckon with systemic racism, decolonise our work, and build a better future together. But action – real, transformative action – has been too slow.
There are many people in the sector who still don’t see the need to change. There are others who are desperate to do better, but don’t know how – or feel disempowered by the structures they work in. And there are those who haven’t been included in the conversation. So let’s do things differently.
