On Monday, 21 January, The Lumen Prize Exhibition held a Gala Auction to open the London leg of the exhibition tour. The exhibiting artists kindly waived their fees and all proceeds from the auction went to Peace Direct.
The event, at Gallery 27 Cork Street, brought together Peace Direct supporters and art lovers and was overseen by a Christie’s auctioneer. The guest’s enjoyed champagne and sushi and 15 lots of digital art were auctioned raising Peace Direct over £6,000!
The Lumen Prize Exhibition continues its tour to Latvia, Shanghai and Hong Kong in the next few months with all proceeds after costs coming to Peace Direct.
