With a Peace Direct Crowdfunding project in the pipeline, we’ve spent the last few weeks finding out exactly what makes it such a successful platform from which to raise funds. A major part of this involved identifying successful campaigns – which is when we stumbled across this gem:

In order to mark the 50th anniversary of Doctor Who, a group of fans have raised funds through Crowdfunding and managed to design and produce a replica TARDIS to be sent into orbit. Having set an original goal of $33,000, the current amount raised at the time of writing stands at $88,880 – a phenomenal response for such an ambitious and outlandish aim!

Our campaign may not have the quirky appeal of this one but it’s every bit as necessary. In truth it’s much more so (sorry ‘Whovians’), and we would really appreciate your support in this new venture – so look out for updates next month.
