Don’t let COVID-19 stand in the way of your professional development.

Between the 2nd and 6th November, the ‘Refreshing Skills & Strategies; Continuing Professional development for Practitioners working in Conflict’ training course will bring together practitioners and NGO leaders from around the world. The course will support participants to refresh their skills and strategies for working in conflict contexts and to develop professionally.

Run by Coalition For Peace in Africa (COPA) and Peace Direct, the course has been designed as a stimulating refresher for practitioners who are dealing regularly with the effects of conflict and violence.

This year we have adapted the course to take place online, so that participants can come together despite the uncertainty of the pandemic. The course will respond to the main challenges and questions faced by practitioners in their everyday work. It will also explore building resilience, and look at strategies to adapt peacebuilding work during a pandemic, including taking work online.

More information on the course, the facilitators and the training content can be found in the training prospectus.
