Peace Direct supporters Sophia Hill and Pete Yeo caught up with Michael and his band, Spearhead, after their recent gig in Shepherds Bush, London.

After leafleting the departing audience, Sophia and Pete were warmly welcomed to the after-show where they were able to introduce Michael and his team to the work of Peace Direct.
Michael is no sideline advocate for Peace. A few years ago he visited Iraq, Israel and Palestine to discover for himself the human cost of war – armed only with an acoustic guitar and a video camera.

Michael is also the inspiration behind the Power to the Peaceful festival held annually in September in San Francisco, his home town. Rumour has it there may be plans to hold a similar event in the UK in future years.
