In 2016 we supported 14,827 people to live safer, more peaceful lives as a result of our work with local people building peace around the world.
These are a handful of impact stories and statements that our partners shared with us in 2016. As the front cover of this year’s report reminds us, conflict is a normal part of life. Violence is not. Local peacebuilders are making peace a practical reality for thousands of people across the globe, and we are committed to supporting them.
