Last Sunday was International Children’s Day, an occasion to celebrate and promote the rights and wellbeing of children. To recognise this, we are running a drawing competition - Imagine Peace - so children can share their vision of peace with everyone. We would love you to join our initiative.

International Children’s Day, an occasion to celebrate and promote the rights and well-being of children. To recognise this, we are running a drawing competition – Imagine Peace – so children can share their vision of peace with everyone. We would love you to join our initiative.

Our children only have one childhood and we are responsible to ensure it is special. At Peace Direct we believe that families and local communities are crucial in creating a peaceful and thriving environment for children. We believe that children’s views are important and we must listen, then act and empower our children to create a brighter future.  That is why we focus our efforts on empowering people to do this.

Children can participate in Imagine Peace from 3 June until 30 July. All they have to do is to imagine peace, draw a picture of what they imagine and send it to us, together with their message of peace. The winning five pictures will be published on our website and made into postcards which we will send to our supporters.

You can find more information about the event and how you can participate here.
