Every night there is another village attacked, burned and emptied. It could be the Mai-Mai – the traditional local militia, or the regular army, or the National Army for the Liberation of Uganda (ADF-NALU) based in Rwenzori mountain near Beni and Uganda Border, or deserters from any group, no-one knows…
But there is hope for change in 2010. The High Council of Defense reports improvement in the general stability and security. And we continue to work for peace, not through political or military power, but from within the communities.
