The system of international cooperation faces a critical juncture. In this moment of collapsing funding and threats to philanthropy, collective action can transform the sector for the future. Together, philanthropists and local actors can resist political attacks and build a new culture of global solidarity.

To support this, we’ve launched Decolonising Philanthropy, a short guide based on research with philanthropists and local actors across the sector. It highlights problems undermining philanthropic efforts, from risk-averse attitudes to one-sided accountability. And it outlines opportunities to reshape our systems, guided by trust, honesty and collaboration.

This is a resource for positive, practical change. An opportunity to discover inspiration, reflect and find new ways forward together.

Decolonising philanthropy is a call to turn commitments into action. To resist attempts to stifle transformation. To meet this moment, changed for the better.

Read it now: Decolonising Philanthropy.
