Take Action Against Cuts.

Governments around the world are putting millions of lives at risk by cutting aid and increasing military spending. We are calling on them to stop funding war. Will you join us?

Aid cuts are putting peace at risk.

Governments including the UK, US, France, Netherlands and Belgium have decided to suddenly cut aid to conflict zones.

The US cut £50 billion of aid, putting 14 million lives at risk. People in Gaza, Sudan, Mali, the DRC and more are forced to rely on this aid to survive. The need for international solidarity is rising, not shrinking.

But governments are turning their backs. The UK has chosen to cut its support by 40%, whilst increasing its military spending, pledging to spend billions of pounds a year on military defence. This will have a devastating impact on some of the world’s most vulnerable people, and make it harder for peacebuilders to end violence.

More bombs and bullets won’t create a safer world. It will create a more dangerous world and have a devastating impact on millions of people.

While Western governments spend billions on war, will you show you stand for a non-violent future by making a donation today?

Support people in conflict zones around the world today.

Together we can support communities in Sudan, Congo, Afghanistan and more. Invest in peace, not violence.

How are local peacebuilders impacted?

“Cutting funding for those in greatest need is not something to boast about…the impact of aid cuts is that millions die,” warned Emergency Relief Coordinator Tom Fletcher.

➡️ Peacebuilders resisting extreme violence in eastern DR Congo rely on US funding to save the lives of hundreds of thousands of people.

➡️ In Sudan, groups providing rapid support to communities facing famine and genocide will not be able to continue their work without urgent funds.

➡️ Colombian peacebuilders are finally at the point of implementing peace after 10 years of campaigning. Now they risk losing the funding they need to end the violence for good.

➡️ An organisation campaigning for the inclusion of marginalised communities in Pakistan has lost 65% of their income.

Will you stand with such courageous local champions by donating today, while international governments turn their backs?

“Let’s not wait for...[governments to]...unfreeze the funding, and ‘return everything to normal’. Let’s work together to identify what we can each do, right now." - Lina Maria, local peacebuilder in Colombia.
