Feeling sluggish after the excesses of Christmas? Need a challenge to motivate you to get fit in 2012? Sign up for the Brighton Marathon! Coming into its third year, the Brighton Marathon is fast becoming one of the most popular marathons in the UK. The route for the marathon starts with a loop of the gorgeous Preston Park, and then takes in the best of the city centre. You’ll pass the iconic Brighton Pavilion and the fabulous stretches of coastal road, including panoramic views where the glorious South Downs meet the English Channel.

Not only an incredible and rewarding personal achievement, you will be helping local people in conflict zones worldwide prevent and resolve conflict and build peace in communities torn apart by years of violence.

All we ask is for you to cover the costs of registration with a £50 deposit (returned when you hit your target) and commit to raising £500. In return, we’ll give you a specialist sweat-wicking running vest, hints and tips on training and fundraising and of course, big smiles and encouragement on the day.
