What does the Island Challenge involve?
You will spend three days and two nights on an uninhabited Scottish island.
As a team you will have to find food and water, establish a camp, and keep yourselves safe.
The challenge will test your leadership and team building, ingenuity, and determination.
Higher levels of individual performance
Stronger, more dynamic team working
Greater determination to succeed and exceed group targets
Higher levels of motivation to push the business forward
Your team will return to your office refreshed, motivated and ready to take on any challenge
We will strive to provide you with a bespoke experience, tailored to your requirements that pushes you to the limit of your comfort zone in order to develop skills and acquire new ones.
You will receive training and leadership development throughout the challenge that is actionable, relevant and delivers results.
You may not always be comfortable, but we will put your safety first.
The Challenge is delivered by Way Ahead and Tiger Teams who both specialise in leadership training and consultancy.
Elite leadership coach John Peck personally accompanies each Island Challenge trip, providing one to one development and group training.
“I believe that all of us have a huge pool of untapped potential at our disposal, to draw on throughout our life.
Our task in life is to develop the energy, wisdom and the courage to step out into that pool and taste and experience those waters.”

Add the edge to your corporate social responsibility programme, help local people stop violence in war-torn areas.
As part of the challenge, each team member will raise at least £2,000.
Each team member will receive individual support from the Peace Direct fundraising team from the moment they sign up for the challenge.
You will not simply be making a donation to Peace Direct. You will be aligning the development of your team, and business, with positive social impact.
You will be helping tackle some of the biggest challenges the world is facing today.
Places on the Island Challenge are limited. The next challenge will be taking place from 17 – 19 October 2017.
