As we honor Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. and his legacy today, Peace Direct and the Alliance for Peacebuilding would like to celebrate everyday peacebuilders across America who are heeding Dr. King’s inspirational example.

Top takeaways from our Peace Exchange

This summer Peace Direct held a Peace Exchange in Beirut, Lebanon – a gathering of peacebuilders from around the world working to resolve conflict in their communities and build sustainable peace. The Exchange brought together 23 individuals from ten countries, representing 14 different grassroots organisations.

Our new U.S. section of Peace Direct’s global online website, Peace Insight, is an interactive map that includes information about groups working for peace across the U.S.
