Centre for the Study of Forgiveness and Reconciliation
The Centre focuses on the study of non-violent means of peace-building and, in particular, the significance of processes of reconciliation and forgiveness in conflict transformation. On-going research projects at the Centre include comparative studies of how successor regimes deal with a legacy of violence and gross human rights abuse. Other research has concentrated on South and East Asian approaches to conflict transformation, peace-building in Kosovo, and prospects for peaceful co- existence in the Middle East.
