Kent University Centre for Conflict and Peace (CCP)

CCP is the successor to the long-established Centre for Conflict Analysis (CCA) founded in the 1960s. The practical activity of the CCA continues and includes a role in track-two mediation in protracted international conflicts around the world. Research interests of the CCP include international relations and international history including international organisation and conflict resolution; conflict analysis and resolution, mediation and intervention in Africa; European security and its institutions, and the legitimacy of security institutions in the post-Cold War area; theories and methods of international relations, war and conflict studies, and conflict management with an emphasis on its institutional aspects; international relations, international organisation and conflict studies.
