CASE STUDIES

Read case studies from around the world that show the robust methods used to transform conflict non-violently.

These first five chapters come from 'War Prevention Works: 50 stories of people resolving conflict' outlining 50 short accounts from all over the world of what ordinary people are doing to stop conflict and killing - armed only with integrity, stamina and courage. These stories show how powerful non-violence can be.

The stories are divided into five chapters, the titles of which refer to the stage of the conflict at the time of involvement by the organisation profiled:

Chapter One - Before Any Violence

[ 6 February 2007 ] - The seven case studies contained in this chapter describe organisations that became involved in situations that had not at the time broken into violence.
