Resolving Tribal ConflictNovember 2008

“Several conflicts have erupted between the Missariya, an Arab tribe and Manadeel, a Nuba tribe, over land and water resources. These conflicts are ongoing but have recently escalated into armed violence. CfPS organised a seminar bringing together elders from both tribes to resolve the conflict and create a permanent Peace Committee made up of both tribes.
