Kambale worked his way up from child soldier to rebel commander. Now he’s working to persuade his old comrades to lay down their arms.   Fouyima grew up in a world divided by fear, speaking only to fellow muslims. Now she’s running a project for young people to come together.

Riots and violence were part of Abida’s upbringing. She’s now leading her local women’s group where they can talk openly about violence.   Each of our peacebuilders has a vision; that people in their community can live without fear or violence.
