'I can make a difference'


Francesca Cerletti gave a talk on 6th March at All Souls in South Ascot hosted by the Ascot Peace Education Network (ASPEN).

Francesca opened the presentation by introducing the different dimensions of conflict and the crucial role civil society plays in making peace sustainable. The examples she gave of those who in Colombia, Congo, and Iraq, risk their lives to nurture dialogue and resolution and the support they receive from British grassroots groups, helped to illustrate how anyone can do about something about peace even if they live in a relatively safe place like the UK.
