We’re always happy to help journalists with interviews, background information and briefings on Peace Direct projects and peace builders as well as the wider issues around conflict prevention and reconciliation.

All the peacebuilders we support have compelling, authentic and human stories . We can put you in touch with them for local, regional, national and international media outlets.

Through our local Insight on Conflict colleagues, we can help link up journalists with local people, campaigners and activists and give real practical help in setting up field trips and interviews.

We can offer experienced commentators for print, TV & radio in the UK and abroad including Peace Direct’s Chief Executive Carolyn Hayman OBE, Co-founder Dr Scilla Elworthy OBE and Head of International Programmes Tom Gillhespy.

We can usually find someone to comment on or contribute to specialist areas including youth, education, women’s issues, international development & aid policy, peace building and charity funding and we can suggest other areas of expertise outside of Peace Direct .
