GILL HICKS: FILM UPDATE
Our second film with Peace Direct Ambassador Gill Hicks has already been seen by over 2,000 people and received widespread media coverage.
In this powerful short film, released as a web viral to mark the UN Day of Peace (September 21st) Gill challenges you to look at peace from a different angle and highlights the courage and determination shown by local peacebuilders around the world every day.
Gill lost both her legs in the July 7th attacks and in the film uses her body shape to create arresting images that are both thought provoking and compelling.
