RAPID RESPONSE FUNDS

Our Rapid Response Funds give local peacebuilders the resources to respond immediately to escalating violence.

Take travel costs of a few hundred pounds for example. It can mean the difference between life and death, yet is often almost impossible for local peacebuilders to raise the money in a hurry.

 Having a Rapid Response Fund in place on the ground means that whenever opportunities arise, they can act. And act fast.

A Rapid Response Fund has been operating in Kenya since January 2006 and has organised mediation and peacebuilding in many different parts of the country. MORE
