Leave a gift in your will
Leave a gift that can change lives for generations to come.
You can look after your loved ones at the same time as remembering Peace Direct in your will. Leave a gift that will help local people across the world stop violence, unite communities and save lives.
How gifts in wills help
In the six years since Peace Direct was set up we’ve supported local peacebuilding projects across the world and built strong relationships with our partners. But we have huge ambitions – to change the way that peace is built on an international scale, so that local people build the peaceful resolution of their own conflicts. We do this because local people have the potential to turn peace agreements into peace on the ground, to make peace last, to stop war – and save lives.
There’s a myth that it’s only the rich who leave legacies – but charities get so much support from people like you leaving a gift in their will. Once you have taken care of your loved ones, please consider making a gift to Peace Direct. By remembering Peace Direct in your will you can support us on this incredible journey to get local people to the heart of all conflict management – and make peace last.
How to leave a gift in your will
It sounds complicated, but writing a will is actually fairly easy. We do advise though that when writing or updating your will you should always seek professional advice – to make it as straightforward as possible.
This document (pdf) provided by the organisation Remember a Charity is a great step-by-step guide to leaving a gift in your will.
